Group Pami Overpelt (Belgium) has decided to take over branch partner TDS in Luik (Belgium). Hereby, Pami considerably reinforces its position in the market of office furniture. Pami replaces the shareholders of TDS who faithfully have controlled the company for many years.
Pami, Belgian manufacturer of office furniture and project organizer, is administrated by the brothers Hendrik and Lode Essers. They took over the company from another family in 1992, and meanwhile they reshaped the company into one of the prominent players in the market. Pami started in 1958 and realises a turnover of 20 million euro’s and employs 140 people.
TDS is also one of the most important players in this sector. The company exists already over 60 years and realises a turnover of 25 million euro’s with 140 people.
We are persuaded that we can reinforce our position on the Belgian and the European market and by doing this insuring the future of both companies.
For Pami, these ambitions are not only a written letter. That is why Pami decided to start a new partnership on the Irish market.
Already in October last year, we started negotiations with Allied Workspace in Dublin. Allied workspace is a market leading fit out company, specialising in demountable partitions, architectural glazing, firescreens and commercial furniture solutions. Allied workspace is unique in the Irish marketplace. It has the resources and structure to offer a single source service throughout the whole design and construction management process. And that is the reason why Pami choose Allied for the Irish market.
From the 1st of January 2010, we started a close partnership for the Irish market.
