Technical Information
Every mezzanine floor system is developed by our own in-house design team using a customised software package which delivers the optimum solution, from 35 different steel sections, to suit the customer's specific requirements.
Design
Galvenised cold rolled steel sigma sections used for the primary beams and secondary beams vary between heights of 162 and 462mm, with thickness of 2 to 4 mm. The unique beam design make it possible to span wide areas up to 15 metres and can carry loads up to 2500kg/m². All our designs are calculated using a 1.5 safety factor. The columns are manufactured from certified, high-quality steel and finished with epoxy powder coating available in two RAL colours.
Decking
All mezzanine floors are typically decked out with our heavy duty C-Dur 38mm particle board. The underside of the particle board is finished with a white, reflective melamine covering which reflects an additional 20% light.
Other options are available such as open steel decking and steel chequered plate for heavy duty applications.
